STELLAR COMMAND - Game Guide
Overview
Stellar Command is a turn-based tactical space strategy game. You command a star base, manage resources, research technologies, recruit pilots, build ships, and engage in tactical combat across the galaxy.
Base Management
Command Center - Generates missions. Always built first.
Hangar - Stores ships. Each hangar holds 4 ships.
Research Lab - Generates research points per day.
Reactor - Provides energy for other buildings.
Workshop - Allows ship construction and repair.
Warehouse - Increases material storage capacity.
Quarters - Provides crew capacity.
Sensor Array - Increases detection range.
Turret - Adds base defense.
Solar Generator - Additional energy source.
Hydroponics Farm - Generates passive income.
Factory - Produces ships and equipment.
Resources
Credits - Currency for purchases and construction.
Materials - Required for building and manufacturing.
Energy - Buildings consume energy; build reactors/solar generators.
Research Points - Earned by labs, spent on technology.
Research
Research unlocks new ship types, weapons, equipment, and stat bonuses. Some technologies require prerequisites. Research takes multiple days to complete.
Ships & Combat
Ships come in two classes:
Corvettes - Fast, agile, lower HP. Good for flanking.
Frigates - Slow, heavy armor, high damage. Frontline tanks.
Turn-based on a hex grid. Each ship has AP (Action Points).
Movement: 1 AP per tile. Click a tile to move.
Attack: Right-click your ship for fire mode, then click an enemy in range.
Cover: Use asteroids for cover to reduce incoming damage.
Fog of War: You can only see within your ships' sensor range.
End Turn: Click "End Turn" when done. Enemy takes their turn.
Pilots
Each ship needs a pilot. Pilots gain XP from combat, level up through ranks (Cadet to General), and learn skills like Sharpshooter, Evasion, Armor, Tactician, etc.
Missions
Missions appear on the galaxy map. Each has a difficulty (easy/medium/hard/extreme), enemy composition, and rewards. Complete missions to earn credits and materials. Failed missions yield no rewards.
Threat Level
The threat level rises over time and with certain events. Keep it low by completing missions and making strategic choices. If threat gets too high, the council may shut down your program (game over).
Monthly Report
Every 30 days, the council evaluates your performance. High ratings grant bonuses; poor ratings increase threat and cut budgets.
Save System
Use the Save Code button in the sidebar to generate a compact code. Copy and store it safely. Use Load Code from the main menu to restore your progress.
